Joe Cocker Passes Away – December 22, 2014

Joe Cocker, the British blues-rock singer whose raspy voice brought plaintive soul to such hits as “You Are So Beautiful” and the duet “Up Where We Belong,” died Monday December 22nd, 2014 after a battle with lung cancer. He was 70.

Ian McLagan Passes Away – December 3, 2014

Rolling Stones collaborator and Faces keyboardist Ian McLagan has died aged 69, due to complications from a stroke.

Bobby Keys Passes Away – December 2, 2014

Bobby Keys, the larger-than-life saxophone player who toured with the Rolling Stones for more than 45 years and played on studio classics like “Brown Sugar” and “Live With Me,” has passed away. He was 70.

Jack Bruce Passes Away – October 25, 2014

Jack Bruce, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame bassist, died October 25, 2014 at his home in Suffolk, England surrounded by his family. Best known as the bassist in the super-group Cream, along with Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker. He also had a long and successful solo career.

 Johnny Winter Passes Away – July 16th 2014

 American blues guitarist and singer Johnny Winter died Wednesday, July 16th, 2014 in a hotel room in Switzerland, his representative said. He was 70.
