What is most important when you purchase art: Buy what you love!

It is good to decide what you want – to collect or decorate. We have art priced for both.

Each photographic print in the gallery and on our site is produced by the photographers themselves and signed. These are best for investment value. If the photographer has passed on, then the family estate has an an official stamp and/or a certificate of authenticity. The cost for those prints is far lower. We have included a page with pricing for the estates we represent.

We also offer customized photographic exhibitions for corporate offices, hotels, restaurants and retail establishments. If you have a specific price range and an interest in particular musicians, please do not hesitate to ask us what is available for viewing within your budget.

Rock and Roll Photo Gallery offers a concierge search service to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

PRINT TYPES

Archival Pigment Print

These are photographic prints made on top of the line inkjet printers using stable archival dye pigment-based inks which can withstand light for over 400 years.

Silver Gelatin Prints

A negative image is projected onto paper treated with light-sensitive chemicals: silver halide suspended in gelatin. Life span of print depends on fixing conditions and paper used, which is normally considered to be at least 200 years.

Platinum Prints

This is a hand coated, UV light sensitive contact printing process. Unlike the silver print process, platinum lies on the paper surface, while silver lies in a gelatin or albumen emulsion that coats the paper. Its a particularly stable process, capable of holding an image for thousands of years.

Chromogenic (C-Type) Prints

Chromogenic printing spans the digital and chemical processes. The prints make use of a paper treated with a chemical mixture which contains light-sensitive silver crystals. Chromogenic prints should last 100 years of light exposure.

We want all who collect with us to know they are getting the best service and pricing. If art purchased with us can be found at lower pricing at any other gallery, we will refund the difference.
